and with our decades of experience we want to enrich people's lives through interaction with outdoor spaces.
We are a team who combine Gardening, Tree & Forestry work, Brick Laying, Carpentry, Metal Fabrication & Stone Masonry,
to deliver you the best solution for your project and property.
From a small town courtyard garden to an open public estate, we want to work and improve the landscape so it is a finer place to be.
Operating from our yard near Cattistock in Dorset, we have central access across the whole of Dorset and East Somerset.
Our small team is usually divided into one maintenance team and one projects team and we combine when many hands are required.
We are flexible and hardworking, making us time-efficient and therefore cost efficient.
However we give every client our full attention and ensure that every job is done right.
OUR STORY
​James grew up in Dorset and having worked in the creative design industry in London for many years,
missed the countryside and longed for a hands-on career working with nature and beautiful materials.
He returned to work for a Landscaping & Fencing Contractor near Exmoor for 4 years before moving back to Dorset to set up Double-Barrows.​​

From a one-man start up, we are now a team with vehicles, tools and machinery who deliver technical projects and routine maintenance to private and commercial clients across two counties.
